Youth and Students Advocates for Development Initiative [YSAD]

The Youth and Students Advocates for Development Initiative [YSAD] Initiative is dedicated to promoting equal participation and empowerment for young people. To achieve this, the YSAD team launched a massive sensitization campaign on traffic rules and the negative effects of police extortion on road users. This campaign was called “No Dey Give, Follow Traffic Rules" and it was supported by Voice Nigeria

Their ultimate goal is to create a society where young people are knowledgeable about their rights as citizens and are actively involved in community development.

It also aimed to stop police extortion by raising awareness and promoting collaboration between citizens and security agents. To achieve social change in Nigeria, YSAD intends to build networks and social movements through training, public awareness programs, research, and dialogue.
