YANN Conversation: Citizen Commons Hosts a Town Hall Discussion with Youths in Ebonyi

It is time for Young Nigerians to use their voice and build the nation they want. 

We held another exciting and interactive Youth Conversation for a New Nigeria (YANN) town hall discussion with young Nigerians in Ebonyi to document their different ideas and opinions about Nigeria, challenges the country is currently undergoing, and how they think it can all be resolved. We believe that the new Nigeria we want to build needs collective effort and the voices of the young people in the country.

The findings and opinions from these national consultations will be compiled into a publication titled: A Nigeria for the Many: A manifesto for Nigeria we desire.

This activity is part of our #FromProtestTo Action project funded by Voice that seeks to leverage the increased passion of young Nigerians to demand accountability from all levels of government as well as take forward some of the learnings from the shortcomings of the #EndSARS protests. FPA is an effort to ensure that the renewed interest of youth is not wasted and the #EndSARS protests do not go by the way of previous citizens' actions.
