University of Abuja Campus Ambassadors Raise Awareness on Sexual Harassment Prevention and Response

Campus ambassadors at the University of Abuja proactively led an awareness campaign aimed at sensitizing the campus community about sexual harassment prevention and response within the academic environment. 

This commendable initiative was strategically executed across various key locations, including the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Social Sciences, and the School Convocation Ground.

Notably, this impactful initiative was spearheaded by female student leaders who had undergone comprehensive capacity-building programs on campus organizing, bystander intervention, and providing essential psychosocial first aid support under the Voice Project - Amplifying Female Students Voices on Sexual Harassment Prevention and Response. 

These empowered leaders effectively guided the campaign, ensuring its successful implementation and resonance with the university's diverse community.
