The Worst and Best of Times (SUSO January 2022 Newsletter)

Last year was a roller coaster for everyone at the Speak Up; Stand Out Project. As COVID-19 waves became increasingly unpredictable, so as its effects spread through our everyday life and routine but what must go on is our continuous call for transformative change in our communities and who better to lead this transformation than young people living in these communities themselves!

With 20 activists and 500 advocates from 3 states (Abuja, Enugu, and Lagos) across 20 communities on board, the team is now in full gear after ending the year on a high. Click here to meet our Activists

Our mission is to support young people with the right tools and resources to Speak Up; and Stand Out by calling attention to issues in their various communities and collectively creating impact specifically on governance, education, employment, peace and security

As we end 2021, we know it has been the worst of times but we’re signing out after also experiencing the best of times with much optimism for the impacts our activists will make in 2022 and we are happy to take you on this journey with us.
