Testing the Waters (SUSO February 2022 Newsletter)

The activities for the month of January and February 2022, generally focused on finalizing the review of the over 700 applications received for Advocates; working with the activists to select advocates suitable for their projects; onboarding the advocates in a virtual onboarding session; finalization of the community actions (projects) that will be implemented the activists and advocates; and kicking-off of community project activities.

Our mission is to support young people with the right tools and resources to Speak Up; and Stand Out by calling attention to issues in their various communities and collectively creating an impact specifically on governance, education, employment, peace, and security

Now, with our 20 activists working with an average of 280 advocates in 3 states (Abuja, Enugu, and Lagos) across 20 communities on board, the team went out of the field to test the waters, and we are happy to take you on this journey with us. Enjoy our stories below.
