A
rear opportunity for the Foundation for Societal Empowerment and Rejuvenation
(FOSER) to have the presence of the Voice Nigeria coordinator (Mrs Ijeoma
Okwor) to participate in one of the Know your rights project’s radio sessions.
Mrs Okwor was featured in a studio discussion where she had the opportunity to
voice out to the teeming listeners what the voice movement stand for,
elucidating that the facility supports rightsholders and groups facing marginalization
or discrimination in their efforts to exert influence in accessing productive
and social services and political participation. Discussion around the focus of
the know your right project were also deliberated.
Consequently, the know your right project manager elaborated on the focus of the project in terms of encouraging peace and harmonious growth in society by supporting young women and men including vulnerable groups to develop their human potential to explore different opportunities that will increase their confidence towards improving quality of life and promote social inclusion. He also put to light the project aimed that hopes to achieve a positive and equitable development in the society through sensitization and mobilization of the vulnerable and underprivilege youths as well as the marginalized communities to participate in a socio-economic activity that can help them to view the important tool for lifting out poverty and creating a favorable society for sustainable development.
